Missing You by John Waite was released June 23, 1984, with For Your Love as the B side. It was the first single released from the album No Brakes.

The song, which Waite wrote about original MTV VJ Nina Blackwood, was a No. 1 hit in the United States and Canada. It reached No. 9 in the United Kingdom.
